Assaf is a Partner at Viola Credit. He has over 15 years of experience in high-tech and holds an LL.B. (Law), a B.A. (Business Administration) and an LL.M. (Magna Cum Laude) from the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya, Israel and an MBA from the Kellogg-Recanati Executive Program.
Assaf is a certified lawyer and member of the Israeli Bar Association.
Assaf was a corporate lawyer for one of Israel’s leading law firms, Gross, Kleinhendler, Hodak, Halevy, Greenberg & Co. (GKH & Co.), where he specialized in the representation of technology and other medium to large cap, listed companies in corporate, commercial and securities issues.
Assaf fulfilled various product management, R&D and implementation positions at iMDsoft, a leading provider of Clinical Information Systems (CIS) for critical care later acquired by TPG Growth.

He likes traveling and nature and enjoys surfing and snowboarding.
He is on the board of an education non-for-profit called Unistream, a social organization that fosters business and social oriented leadership in Israeli youth from peripheral communities. He also actively volunteers as a business mentor in the Unistream Or-Yehuda Center.
He started working in technology while still in high-school: “I was doing implementation and Q&A work at Ichilov hospital for iMDsoft, a leading clinical information systems provider. I continued working there in various product and project management roles through my military service and law school. The company was eventually sold to TPG Growth.”
Assaf was born in Antwerp, Belgium but moved to Israel as a baby and grew up in Tel-Aviv (he can speak Hebrew, English, French and Spanish). He is one of the founders of the Belgian-Israeli Business Club and was appointed Economic Diplomacy Advisor to the Embassy of Belgium in Israel.
