Elya joined Viola Credit in 2023 as a Risk Manager. He is responsible for assessing financial and operational risks and implementing fund strategies to manage them. Elya actively collaborates with the investment team to support transaction structuring and encourages a culture where risk is well understood.

Elya holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Bar-Ilan University and an MSc in Technology and Information Systems from Tel Aviv University.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Viola Credit, Elya held various positions in credit risk management. These include Risk Data Scientist at Pagaya Technologies, Risk Team Lead at Tarya FinTech, and Consultant at the Risk Advisory practice at Deloitte.
During his MSc, Elya was also a research assistant in the faculty of management in the field of ML modelling.

As an individual who left the ultra-Orthodox community, Elya is involved in various activities within associations that help former ultra-Orthodox youths integrate into wider communities.
During his time at university, Elya was active in student life and served in different positions in the University Student Union and the National Student Union.
