Shahar joined Viola Credit as a Director in 2023 with 10 years of experience in research, engineering, and management.

Shahar is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, executing, and managing private debt investments opportunities in Israel, as well as developing the connections with the VC ecosystem where she has a robust network.

Shahar holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

Shahar started her career as an engineer in the semiconductor industry, working for Intel Corporation and Tower semiconductors.

Prior to joining Viola, Shahar was the CEO of Power in Diversity Israel, a bottom-up initiative inspired by the American National Venture Capital Association’s, bringing together 75 Israeli venture capital funds and 200 Israeli corporations to promote diversity and inclusion in the Israeli tech ecosystem.

During her military service, Shahar served at Elite Intelligence Unit 9900.
