THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT ADAM
His favorite pastime is spending time on the Tel Aviv beach with friends and family. “Coming to Israel every summer growing up, my father taught me how to play MatKot, (an Israeli paddle game that is most often played on the beach shore). Now that I live in Tel Aviv, I play at least twice a week – sometimes even at 7am before work!” He also loves playing and watching sports, specifically basketball: “I played varsity basketball in high school and am an avid New York Knicks fan. The Knicks suck and its tough to watch them continuously lose, but that’s a part of being a true fan!”
He grew up in Long Island, New York. “I’m first generation American – both my parents are immigrants from Israel. They’re also the only ones from their families (my mom is one of six) to leave Israel. We’d visit Israel (stay in Tel Aviv) every summer for usually 1-2 months to visit my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. Tel Aviv, Israel has practically been home to me forever.”
His favorite mantra is “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” It’s quite overused, but I find it to be true.
