• Prior to joining Viola Growth, Bastien was a Principal at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was a leadership member of the Technology Advantage, Financial Institutions, and TMT practices. Bastien is known for leading cross-functional teams through the complexities of high-stakes growth, helping global tech leaders and financial institutions navigate go-to-market design, risk management, due diligence, product, and pricing strategy, as well as digital transformation and operational scale.
• Before BCG, Bastien was a pre-sales and post-sales engineering manager at a global cybersecurity leader, where he owned product and services aspects of enterprise sales cycles.
• Earlier in his career, Bastien served as General Manager of a small private security company and as a Captain in the Military Intelligence.
• He holds a BA in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Lausanne and an MSc in Forensic Accounting (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Portsmouth.
